Growing Star

growingstar

When it's not too hot out, I've been working on the Star Afghan. It's growing perfect size for Quentin's stroller. I'm thinking it'll be done shortly. (So I've already been pondering my next project). I find that my knitting and crochet in the summer always slows down, and picks back up in the fall for fall-winter-spring. Are you like that too? Or is it just me?

It's looking good! I think I'm kind of the opposite. I tend to knit more in the summer than in the fall and winter because I have more time in the summer.

I'm actually pretty productive in the summer, but I think that's becasue of what we do. there is more time spent in the car (getting to and from the cottage), and I knit a lot then, plus all the down time at the cottage - I spend it knitting, whereas if I were home I'd be busy doing other stuff. I do tend towards smaller, lighter projects in summer - no heavy wool on my lap!
The afghan is looking good! I loved having stroller sized blankets around when the boy was smaller...

Your afghan is coming along great. Can't wait to see it done.
